1.
How long will it take for my Domain name to be active on the Internet after it has been registered ?

The .com, .net, .org, .biz and .info Domain names registered through Signdomains.com may take up to 72 hours, which is normal Internet propagation time, until they are accessible on the Internet.

2.
Why doesn't my Domain name access my Web site ?
In the event that your Domain name is not currently resolving to your Web site, check the following to ensure that your Domain name's Zone File and DNS (Domain Name Server) information are configured correctly.
  • All changes to a Domain name require propagation time. Propagation time is the amount of time it takes for Domain name information to be fully distributed throughout the Internet. Therefore, if you have recently pointed your Domain name to your Web site through a DNS change, you will need to wait for 24-72 hours for the change to take effect. Alternately, if you have edited your IP address to point your Domain name to your Web site, you will need to wait for 24-72 hours for the change to take effect.
  • IP address: Check the IP address to which your Domain name resolves in order to ensure that you have entered the address correctly. If you have mistyped the address or entered an invalid IP address, please enter the correct information and then apply the changes. Please make sure that the computer or Web server at the IP address you list is configured to respond to your Domain name.

3.
Why does my Domain name sometimes access my Web site, but resolve elsewhere at other times ?

If your Domain name does not always resolve to the IP address or Web server that you have indicated in Domain Manager, it may be a result of the following:
  • Insufficient propagation time, as mentioned in the preceding FAQ's.
  • In case the website is hosted on a Name Based Server, the index page of the website might not have been uploaded. Kindly upload the index page and thereafter you will be able to view your website
